Here you'll share your background and skills while outlining how you can contribute value to startup founders.

Attend a video interview
We will arrange a video call with you to go through your application and get to know you a little better.
Step 3
Get approved, go live!
Once approved, finalise your profile details like availability, and you're ready to start publishing on MentorLabs and receive bookings.

What if a mentor doesn’t accept my booking?
This is most likely because the mentor may not feel they’re best suited to help you with the agenda you have created. They will let you know accordingly and you can simply use your credit to book with a different mentor.
Can I schedule sessions at my convenience?
Yes, you can schedule sessions at times that are convenient for you. You will be allowed to request up to 3 suitable times for a greater chance that your mentor will accept one of them.
Do I need to select 3 suitable times when booking with a mentor?
We encourage you to do so as this will help reduce the chance of your mentor not being able to accept your preferred time slot. If they cannot meet with you on one of the time slots, they can suggest another, until you both agree.
What if I want to change my scheduled time.
We understand from time to time you may need to amend your booking. We ask that you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled time by going into your dashboard and selecting this option. In exceptional emergencies, we will consider changing your booking with your mentor on your behalf through our [email protected] contact email.
How long will it take to get a confirmation from a mentor to accept my booking?
Our mentors are located all over the world and in different time zones. Therefore we give them up to 48 hours (business days) to respond to your request and either accept, decline, or offer an alternative time. Our booking system takes into consideration if you’re booking ahead of a weekend and additional days may be given as a result.
How long does a session go for?
Your mentor session will last for 60 minutes.
What if I have wifi issues and can’t connect?
We ask you to check this well in advance and be in a good wifi area. If for any unforeseen circumstance, you cannot connect, we’ll arrange to reschedule this session with your mentor if you notify us on the help email - [email protected]
Can I use my multi-session pack with any mentor?
Yes, you can use your session tokens with the same mentor or with any mentor on our platform.
Am I obliged to commit to a minimum number of sessions with a mentor?
Feel free to use a single session to test out any mentor.
What if I need ongoing or long-term mentoring?
That's precisely why we offer mentoring packs of 3 or 5 sessions, enabling you to structure your mentoring journey across one or multiple mentors to meet your specific objectives. If, however, you desire a more extended commitment, our mentors and partners are more than willing to assist you in creating a longer-term plan.
